How forgiving is Allah?
Allah is the Most Forgiving, the Oft-Forgiving, the Best of those who forgive. He forgives all sins, except for associating partners with Him, as long as the sinner repents sincerely and seeks His mercy. Allah loves to forgive His servants and He is always ready to accept their repentance. Allah says in the Quran:
Say: “O My servants who have transgressed against their souls! Do not despair of Allah’s mercy, for Allah forgives all sins. He is Forgiving, Most Merciful.” (39:53)
And whoever does evil or wrongs himself but afterwards seeks Allah’s forgiveness, he will find Allah Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (4:110)
And He is the One who accepts repentance from His servants and pardons misdeeds, and He knows what you do. (42:25)
Therefore, we should always turn to Allah and ask for His forgiveness, no matter how many or how great our sins are. We should also have hope in Allah’s mercy and grace, and not despair of His forgiveness. Allah is more pleased with the repentance of His servant than a person who finds his lost camel in a desert. Allah is the Most Generous and the Most Kind, and He rewards those who repent with His love, guidance, and paradise.
